How can I update my payment method?

To update your payment method you should visit the rental payments page inside your account and click on the 'Update payment method' button on the top right. You will be prompted to enter the new details and verify them. Once verified you will receive confirmation via email of the updated details and be able to view them on the rental payments page.

Can more than one tenant set up a payment account? Can we split payments?

Only one payment account may be set up for the tenancy, split payments are not available. If there are multiple tenants on your tenancy you should decide who will be responsible for making the payments and organise transfers between yourselves as required.

Are there any fees for payments?

RentBetter does not charge any fees to tenants however, if choosing to pay via a credit or debit card, a card processing applies to the transaction. This fee is marked when you add your payment method.

Payments processed via a bank account are free and do not incur traditional card fees. A Bank account is the recommended option when setting up a payment method on the platform.
