What is the refer a friend program?
RentBetter has helped thousands of landlords discover a better way to manage their rental properties. It’s our mission to keep sharing our knowledge, tools and technology to help even more landlords around Australia.
The Refer a Friend program is designed to reward customers who refer RentBetter to their friends.
If you have friends or family that own property you can help them discover RentBetter and we’ll share the love in return, with a $25 reward for each friend that signs up and pays for a RentBetter plan.
Your friend will also receive a $25 reward when they sign up.
Who can refer a friend to RentBetter?
If you’re a landlord on a paid plan or a tenant using RentBetter because of your landlord, you can refer friends to the platform.
Your referral friend must own their property to be able to use RentBetter.
How do I refer a friend on RentBetter?
Head to the Referral Page inside the RentBetter Platform
Copy your Unique Link to share or invite your friends via email from the platform
Collect Rewards when they sign up and pay for a plan
Do I need to log in to refer?
Yes, you must be logged in as a landlord or tenant in the platform to access the referral page and refer your friends.
What conditions must referrals complete for me to earn the reward?
If you’re a landlord, you will need to have paid for a RentBetter Management plan to be able to refer your friends and earn rewards.
If you’re a tenant using the platform, you can refer friends at any time.
Will I be notified if a person I refer signs up?
Yes, you’ll be notified via email if the friend you refer signs up to the RentBetter platform.
How and when will I receive my reward?
You’ll receive an email with instructions on how to claim your $25 reward as soon as someone you refer signs up using your unique link.
Does my friend also get a reward?
Yes, your friend will also receive an email with instructions on how to claim their reward after they have signed up and paid for a RentBetter plan.
Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
There’s no limit to how many people you can refer so the more you refer the more you can potentially earn!
What if a person I referred doesn’t use my unique link to sign up, will I still be eligible?
Unfortunately, we are unable to track referrals if the person you referred signs up without your unique link so that’s why it’s important to remind them once you have invited them to the platform.
We also remind them of this in our email communications when instructing them how to sign up.
